Do you get taller as you get older?
This week, as part of our 'Animals Including Humans' topic, we have been asking the important questions - do people get taller as they get older? Some predicted yes, some predicted no, but here are our results.
We worked out our age in days, and then measured ourselves in centimetres. What you can see below is the results - and it does (sort of) show that people do get taller as they get older. See if you can spot David and Jade on the graph below.
What makes things rust?
Team Finch have begun their Science experiment this week. What makes things rust? It it oxygen? Water? Fizziness? Take a look at the slideshow below of our brand new Science experiment. We are using many different variables here!

To infinity...and beyond!
Okay - so we didn't manage to send a rocket to space...but we had lots of fun designing and making our own rockets that were sent high into the sky!
What is Gravity?
Team Finch have been working hard this week on Gravity and Air Resistance. We began by drawing diagrams in our books to show how gravity works. Then we learned about it, and did an experiment using helicopters. What can do to change the balance between gravity and air resistance?
